Heirloom Garlic Scapes

Garlic Scapes are edible flowers that form on hardneck and historic varieties of Garlic and are considered a seasonal delicacy by gardeners and Chefs alike.  These flowers are best described as, "Garlic asparagus" because they have a delicious, subtle garlic flavor with the texture and firmness of asparagus.  Try them raw in salads, in stir fry dishes, roasted with potatoes and onions, or our favorite, as pickled scapes.

Scapes are only available for a few weeks each year, usually between June 1 and June 21, so be sure to watch for presale options.
