The 2024-2025 Season Is here

Greetings Friends, Family, and valued customers. As we wind down 2024 and look towards our 15th season, we want to thank everyone who helped make this year an important one for us here at Abbott's Garlic Farm. We continued to grow and expand into our beautiful new Farmland located along Scotts Creek in Lake County, CA, where the pristine floodplain soil has allowed our garlic to flourish. The riparian zone (the vegetation region surrounding Scotts Creek) is an important animal corridor for everything from Bobcats, Cougars, foxes, deer, and even Bears (yes, we have seen one!), and home to majestic seasonal birds like Osprey and Blad Eagle. We feel incredibly blessed to be Farming and living in this special location, and with only 5% to 10% of California's riparian zones still wild and intact, we feel a deep responsibility to honor and caretake this valuable resource. Look for future blogs posts that discuss this important resource, and our commitment to protecting and enhancing it through respectful Farm practices.

With the first sprout in fall comes excitement for the season ahead, and we can't wait to introduce you to new Garlic varieties and products coming over the next year. We are adding 3 new Garlic varieties available for sale in late June 2025, including two new Porcelain Hardneck varieties and one exceptional Rochambo. We will also be introducing new Heirloom Garlic Infused Sea Salt and Powder Brining products, including seasonal Dry-Brine kits for the holidays, and new options for creating liquid Brines as well. Stay tuned!

Again, Thank you all so much for your continued support. As a small working Family Farm, our connection with you, and our community, is what allow us to grow, produce, and sell Farm Direct goods with unequaled quality and commitment. Whether through the health benefits of eating organically grown produce, or through our commitment to the land and our place in it, by valuing sustainable agriculture, you are making a direct impact in the health of your family, the health of the food cycle, and the health of our world.
